The Nigeria Universities Commission has appealed to all universities
and tertiary institutions in the country to immediately embark on
informative and expansive sensitisation of their students on the dreaded
Ebola virus disease.
This, the Commission said was necessary and should be prioritised because of the crowded nature of institutions.
The Executive Secretary of the NUC, Prof. Julius Okojie who spoke at a
forum with all Nigerian Universities on the Tertiary Institutions
Health Insurance Scheme in Abuja Tuesday said the current outbreak of
Ebola Virus disease across the sub-region makes it imperative that
institutions must take the health of their students seriously.
